“I was diagnosed 5th November 2021 with Stage 4 double lung cancer. I was very fortunate my 1st treatment line didn't steal my hair. My story changed 26th August 2025 when my cancer had spread to my brain and I entered the world of chemotherapy & radiotherapy.
I chose to shave all my hair off, I felt empowered to take control. Empowerment was short lived because then the grief of loosing my hair set in.
Hours of searching TikTok for wigs began, advice of good wigs coming in over social media messages to buy on Amazon. Every order I purchased was being returned because it wasn't my hair.
I took it upon myself to research, Amber Jean came up, and why wouldn't you buy a wig from someone who has spent their whole life without hair, someone who has the expertise and knowledge.

The whole experience with Amber Jean has now given me the knowledge to hopefully stop the heart ache in my community, I love my hair as much as If it was my own. I went to my hairdresser who coloured it, making it my own was important to me.
My advice to anyone is just do it right, don't waste your time searching the web, just go to Amber Jean.”
