Sometimes when you first try on your wig, you may notice it sitting slightly higher on your forehead. Some women love this look, while others prefer to bring the hairline down a little for a softer, more natural effect. This is where your baby hairs come in — they are perfect for blending the lace and creating a beautifully natural transition from skin to hair.
In this demonstration, we’re working with a wig that still has the lace intact and features plenty of baby hairs, making it ideal for showing you just how easy this process is. To start, lightly spray a small amount of water onto your hands — not directly onto the wig. Then, gently use your fingers to roll and shape the baby hairs so they sit a little closer to your skin.
This rolling motion helps to tame the hairs while still keeping them soft and natural. You’re completely in control of where you want your baby hairs to sit, how much you want to frame your face, and how subtly you’d like to disguise the lace or any visible knotting.
